English name: Nux vomica
Scientific name: Strychnos nux-vomica L.
Useable organs: Seed, leaf, stem, root, bark,
Uses:
1) Neurasthenia: 150 mg refined seed crush plus equal amount of ground black pepper swallowed twice a day with milk reduces nervous and sexual weakness.
2) Blood dysentery: 100 gm refined seed crush with half a cup of grass sap, twice a day is a good remedy for blood dysentery.
3) Solidified nasal catarrh (cold): 100 gm refined seed crush plus half a cup of sap of sacred basil with honey two times a day reduces solidified nasal catarrh.
4) Vomiting: Nux vomica is normally vomiturius, but antiemetic with clove and ginger during pregnancy.
5) It mitigates the paralysis problem when regularly swallowed with milk.
6) Gonorrhea: 100 mg nux vomica with 5 gm cow’s hoof two times a day can cure gonorrhea.
7) It recovers impotency and refreshes the sexual power when taken with butter and sugar candy. Its external application on smashed and sprained organs removes the pain.
